XO Wave: Pro Menu
XO Wave's Pro menu offers access to the XO Wave online store, where you can upgrade XO Wave Free to Pro or purchase support from XO Audio. Note that this menu is only available on Mac OS X, as XO Wave Pro is not available on Linux.
Go Pro (XO Wave Free)Use this command in XO Wave Free (on Mac OS X) to purchase XO Wave Pro. It will walk you through the XO Wave purchase process at the XO Wave online store (managed by eSellerate). At the end of the process, your computer will automatically be authorized to run XO Wave in Pro mode. You will receive a serial number which you can use to re-authorize that machine in case you clear its hard drive. You will also receive an order number which can use to obtain technical support from XO Audio. Deauthorize Computer (XO Wave Pro)Use this command in XO Wave Pro (on Mac OS X) to deauthorize XO Wave Pro, so that you can authorize another machine. You should also do this before a major hardware or software upgrade to make sure that XO Wave can continue to be authorized on the same machine. Keep in mind two things: 1. You should not try to reauthorize the same or a different computer with the same serial number immediately after deauthorizing. Instead wait about 15 minutes to ensure the deauthorization has a chance to propagate through our sales and registration system. 2. You may not be able to reauthorize after too many repeated deauthorization/reauthorization cycles. Deauthorization is intended for occasional upgrades and hardware changes; it is not intended to support routinely running XO Wave on multiple machines, such as a laptop and desktop. You may have to restart XO Wave after authorizing before this option becomes available. Be sure you have a copy of your serial number before deauthorizing, so you can re-authorize later. XO Wave will show you the serial number before deauthorizing, along with a reminder to keep it for later. Enter Serial NumberPro users can use this command to enter their Pro serial numbers; this will activate a copy of XO Wave Free, and remove the Free mode restrictions. Note that the Free and Pro software is the same -- the differences are controlled by presence or absence of a serial number. This option is only available on XO Wave Free. Purchase Items From Web StoreThis item visits the XO Wave online store (managed by eSellerate). The online store sells Pro licenses and support from XO Audio (the developers of XO Wave). Note that new Pro licenses include one support incident, so you may not have to purchase support to get your first question answered. For details, see the support page. Use KeyServer (if KeyAccess is installed)If you have Sassafras KeyAccess installed on the computer running XO Wave, and XO Wave has not been registered with a personal serial number, it will offer this additional menu item. XO Wave can use KeyServer for license management, but if you are not connected to the KeyServer, or the server does not have XO Wave licenses available, enabling this option could slow down XO Wave, so you have the option to disable KeyServer support here.
