Important Notice:
Although XO Wave will continue to be available for some time,
it will be discontinued as we prepare to bring you the next generation
Digital Audio Workstation.
The new software we are developing is called
Xonami and it will have
many, but not all, of the features of XO Wave.
A discount upgrade path will be available
for users who purchased XO Wave September 1st, 2010.
We realize that
there are few professional CD mastering options with the full range of capabilities offered
by XO Wave, so we will continue to offer the package as long as possible. However,
please keep in mind that as discontinued software:
- This site may not contain up-to-date information.
- Technical Support will be discontinued on November 30th.
For up-to-date information about our upcoming software, please join our
mailing list.
XO Wave: XO Wave Menu
The XO Wave menu, present on Mac OS X but not under Linux, manages the XO Wave application itself.
It provides everything you expect from the application menu of
an OS X application, including Preferences, About, and Quit commands,
as well as some system functions such as Hide and Show
commands to conceal XO Wave's windows, and reveal those of other programs.
Platform Note: This document describes XO Wave
running under Mac OS X (Free and Pro versions). Since Linux does not have an
application menu, relevant commands from this menu are available
elsewhere in XO Wave Open.
The About XO Wave command brings up XO Wave's About box. This command is also
available under the Help menu.
Mac only: This option opens XO Wave's Preferences window.
On Linux Preferences appears under
the Windows menu
instead.
This standard Mac OS X submenu offers access to appropriate
services on the system. Services typically offer access to
features of other applications. XO Wave does not provide any
services itself, or any specific support for Mac OS X
services.
This standard Mac OS X command hides all XO Wave windows.
You can return to XO Wave using the Mac OS X Dock or
Command-Tab.
This standard Mac OS X command hides all windows that do
not belong to XO Wave.
You can return to and reveal other programs with the Mac OS X
Dock or Command-Tab.
This standard Mac OS X command reveals all running
applications, and any non-minimized windows.
Quit exits XO Wave, after offering to save any
outstanding session changes.
