XO Wave 0.19.0 includes many new features, including an Envelope
Generator effect (useful for more than just ducking), a ton
of major improvements to existing features, such as CD burning,
import and export, and a beautiful new look. There are over 100
changes since the 18th beta, thanks to lots of user feedback!
The latest release of XO Wave includes over 50 new features and bugfixes,
including support for Audio Units, CD Text burning, file
metadata support, and major edit window enhancements. Also included
are a number of smaller improvements, mostly suggested by users, such
as improved pre-/post- roll options, and multi-track selections and
editing.
This release of XO Wave includes a lot of new capabilities, including
compatibility with Audio Hijack Pro and improved performance.
There have also been minor cosmetic and functionality improvements
to contextual help and the Edit window's ruler.

In order to encourage user feedback, XO Audio announced a
Songs 4 Bugs program. By reporting

This release expands on 0.15's QuickTime capabilities, adding support
for any QuickTime audio/video format, with explicit shortcuts
for AAC (.m4a) and iPod video formats. The option is given to
export any portion of the session, and to open in iTunes when
the export is complete. This release also improves Red Book
standards compliance and allows adjustment of CD pregap lengths
on Mac OS X, with drives that support this feature.
This release vastly improves QuickTime support, including support for syncing
and exporting. In addition, this release includes a number of lesser features
and bug-fixes.
Topping the list of major enhancements in this version is automation on
most effect parameters. In addition, this release includes a
number of other major enhancements, including improved Edit
window, and the ability to import QuickTime readable files (Mac OS X
only), as well as many smaller improvements.
Along with a number of bug-fixes, this release incorporates a number of user
suggestions such as a new "Parametric" effect, which supports up to 7 bands
of fully parametric EQ, support for 24 FPS timecode (Film) and 25 FPS timecode
(EBU/PAL/SECAM), and the ability to rebuild corrupt or missing overview files.
A few minor visual enhancements have also been made to fades, metering, and
the new Effect window.
Thanks to lots of user feedback, this release includes a major reworking
of the GUI. You'll find dozens of new features in the Edit window
especially, but also lots of small changes throughout the
software. Be sure to take advantage of the new mailing lists to
report your experiences!

This release improves the behavior of the windows so it feels more
like a native application on all platforms. It also adds improved management
of versions, an improved Linux installer and some minor bug fixes.
XO Wave's Eighth beta includes improvements to help with file management,
especially importing audio files. On the Mac, files can be imported easily
from audio CDs. Support for some of the more common AIFC files has also been
added. This release also includes a number of small enhancements and bug fixes,
especially for the Mac.
XO Wave's seventh beta includes a number of minor enhancements and bug
fixes, which should improve performance and usability,
especially in the Edit window.
XO Wave's sixth beta includes previewing of regions, contextual menus,
nicer rendering of fades and cross fades as well as a number of minor enhancements and bug fixes.
XO Wave's fifth beta adds a few features such as support for Microsoft
WAVE files, improved file and region management, and a number of minor
enhancements and bug fixes.
XO Wave's third beta release adds a number of new features including
CD burning, and a new "Edit Softening" feature that makes editing
even easier. Also included are numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements.
XO Wave's second beta release adds a number of features including
real-time cross fades, as well as numerous enhancements and bug fixes.
Improvements should be especially noticeable on the Mac platform which
has received some serious attention.
